STEM Catalysts 2026 is a state-wide educational initiative dedicated to inspiring curiosity, fostering innovation, and preparing Sarawak's youth for future career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Organised by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD), the programme is a collaborative effort alongside the Sarawak Science Centre (SSCiEX), University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Sarawak Skills, and the Sarawak Research and Development Council (SRDC).
Highlight
The June 15, 2026 event marked a significant three-year milestone for the programme and was officially graced by YB Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Minister for MEITD. Held at SMK Padawan, the launch brought together 655 students for a day of immersive, real-world STEM activities. This landmark event underscores the Sarawak Government’s ongoing commitment to nurturing future-ready talent and proving that early empowerment shapes the innovators of tomorrow.
