20 April 2026
About
The STEM Catalysts 2026 programme continued its statewide outreach at SMK Sadong Hilir, engaging 550 students through hands-on and interactive STEM learning experiences. Organised by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) in collaboration with Sarawak Science Centre, University of Technology Sarawak, Sarawak Skills, and the Sarawak Research and Development Council, the initiative is designed to spark curiosity, encourage innovation, and prepare students with the skills needed for the future. More than just learning concepts, STEM Catalysts brings real-world relevance into the classroom. It shows students that STEM is not limited to textbooks, but is about asking questions, solving problems, and building the future.
