About
The STEM Catalyst Raspberry Pi 2025 was a major outreach initiative by Sarawak Science Centre (SSCiEX) aimed at strengthening digital literacy and STEM learning among upper-primary students across Sarawak. The programme reached 151 schools across 18 District Education Offices (PPDs), engaging around 6,000 students in hands-on coding, electronics, and computational thinking activities using Raspberry Pi microcomputers.
Highlight
The programme successfully reached schools across all regions of Sarawak, fostered strong collaboration between SSCiEX, Sarawak Skills, and UTS, engaged students and teachers with hands-on Raspberry Pi STEM activities, attracted VIP attention, and was recognised as one of SSCiEX’s largest and most impactful outreach initiatives of 2025.
