About the Visit
On 14 October 2025, SMK Lutong visited the Common Science Lab (CSL) in Miri for the pilot run of SSCiEX's new laboratory facility. 59 students and 3 teachers joined hands-on science experiments, guided by 8 SSCiEX staff. The visit gave students access to a fully equipped lab, allowing them to explore experiments that their school could not fully support.
Hands-on Learning in Action
The pilot session successfully demonstrated the lab’s full functionality. Students enjoyed hands-on learning in heat, waves, and motion experiments. Key objectives achieved included providing a conducive environment for experiential science learning and exposing students to proper scientific apparatus and procedures.
